Easy Granola Bars

a easy, quick granola bar filled with your favorite jelly!

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ Cup Potato Flake Sourdough Starter You can skip this ingredient, if so add a 2 extra TBSP
  • ½ Cup Melted Butter
  • Cup Honey
  • 2 Cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 Cup Fresh Milled Flour I use whole white wheat or Spelt. You can even replace with all purpose or a gluten free flour
  • ½-⅔ Cup Homemade Strawberry Jelly

Instructions
 

  • Mix together melted butter, potato flake sourdough starter & honey together
  • Add in fresh milled flour, oats and combine
  • Press half of the mixture into an 8x8 dish, lined with parchment paper
  • Spread your homemade jam on top while keeping it away from the sides
  • Cover the remaining mixture, lightly press entire mixture into the pan, be careful so it doesn't come out
  • Bake at 350 degrees, once out let it cool then place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or add to the freezer if you need it quicker.
  • take out of pan and cut into 12 slices
  • store in the fridge for 1 week or on the counter for 3-4 days.
