You’ll never believe how easy this strawberry jelly is!
Homemade Strawberry Jelly Without Pectin & Sugar
This strawberry jelly is so easy to make you will never go back to store bought! To top it off it's made with only 3 ingredients, free from processed sugar and pectin. Using simple ingredients, frozen (or fresh) strawberries, lemon juice and maple syrup!
Equipment
- 1 Heavy Bottom Pot
- 1 Wooden Spoon
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Frozen Strawberries I used what I had, frozen, but I assume fresh would work as well.
- ⅓ Cup Maple Syrup add more if isn't as sweetened as you'd pefer
- 2 TBSP Lemon Juice
Instructions
- Add 2 cups of frozen strawberries to pot with 1/3 cup of maple syrup
- bring to a soft boil while stirring frequently, while strawberries soften chop then up with your wooden spoon.
- Once to a boil after about 4 minutes add 2 TBSP of lemon juice
- keep it at a soft boil until it starts to thicken and coat the back of your wooden spoon.
- Add to a glass jar and keep in the fridge and enjoy 🙂
