What is a Potato Flake Sourdough Starter?
A potato flake sourdough starter is used in baking the same way a traditional sourdough starter would be used, it is what will cause your baked goods to rise. This starter will give your dough a much sweeter taste without the tangy sour taste that traditional sourdough has.
It is made with sugar, water, dehydrated potato flakes and yeast. Once your starter is established you will only need sugar, dehydrated potato flakes and water to feed your starter.
